Tonight the people of West Springfield, a great family community with rich values and strong traditions, have made a decision at the polls. While their decision means the Hard Rock New England project will not go forward in West Springfield, we respect their decision and thank them for welcoming us into their community for the past eight months.
We are disappointed for the volunteers, but beyond thankful for all of the West Side YES! Members, elected officials, unions, and citizens of West Springfield who have spent unlimited hours learning about this project, helping us to develop it and then pouring their hearts and time into this campaign. We’d especially like to thank Don Chase and Gene Cassidy and his staff at the ESE, the mayor, and the councilman.
We recognize the significant offerings Massachusetts has for the Hard Rock brand and continue to evaluate opportunities in the region.

West Springfield, Mass. – April 11, 2013 – Hard Rock International – owner of one of the world’s most recognized, iconic brands – unveiled the most extensive traffic study and implementation plan ever completed for the Eastern States/West Springfield-Agawam Corridor on Wednesday, April 10.
