World Extreme Cagefighting® (WEC™) announced today that two world titles will be on the line on Wednesday, September 10 at 6 p.m. when the organization makes its initial foray into the great state of Florida. In the main event, WEC Featherweight Champion “The California Kid” Urijah Faber defends his title against Florida’s own Mike Brown, and in the co-featured bout, WEC Middleweight Champion Paulo “Eli” Filho returns to action to battle Chael Sonnen in their highly anticipated rematch. This championship doubleheader will take place at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

The Seminole Tribe of Florida Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum is opening one of its traveling exhibits JACKPOT! Seminole Gaming From Then Until Now, July 25th in the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa South Garage/casino entrance walkway. The exhibit will be on display through September 2008 and features a complete historical perspective on tribal sovereignty and Seminole gaming and also a video with interviews from senior members of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The Jackpot! exhibition is free and open to the public 24 hours a day. “This exhibit offers an incredible interactive experience for the Tampa Bay community to get up close to Seminole Tribal history,” said Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino President John Fontana.
