Hard Rock Hotel Chicago, Metromix.com, and Lollapalooza will once again host the iconic Music Lounge exclusively at the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago, the weekend of August 1–August 3. This intimate and extravagant experience, billed as a "VIP + artist retreat," brings together musicians and select Lollapalooza attendees for what has been called the "best party" of the weekend. Past party attendees included Lupe Fiasco, Perez Hilton, The Roots, TV on the Radio, Amy Winehouse, Pete Wentz, M.I.A., DJ MomJeans (a.k.a. Danny Masterson), and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Marky Ramone. Lollapalooza rocks the daytime, but the night belongs to Hard Rock Hotel Chicago and the Music Lounge.

Since its inception as a traveling showcase of alternative music, Lollapalooza's ride from the top to the bottom and back to the top shows that founder Perry Ferrell never gave up on his music, his loves, or his dreams. After a 7-year absence from the national music scene, landing in Chicago's renowned Grant Park in 2005 proved that Lollapalooza endures and adapts and that it continually kicks preconceptions to the curb. This year, hosting well over 100 bands and DJs from the entire spectrum of music, Lollapalooza will move Chicago to the beat of generations for the entire weekend.

As the music winds down for the day at Grant Park, the spectacular Hard Rock Hotel Chicago will become the epicenter of this wild party. The Music Lounge will feature nightly DJ sets, special hosts for each evening, bands tearing the stage apart, tattoo artists, and music until the wee morning hours. Lollapalooza and Hard Rock Hotel Chicago make a beautiful couple, indeed.
